Abysalto Energy brings energy monitoring and equipment control into one cloud platform. Track electricity consumption alongside water, natural gas, and compressed air, and identify where changes could reduce costs.
Abysalto Energy brings energy monitoring and equipment control into one cloud platform.
Abysalto Energy combines metering equipment with software and connects to existing meters and systems. Sites and buildings follow your company’s structure, so you can review consumption at a single metering point or across your entire portfolio.
The platform supports energy management in industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and public institutions.
Track electricity and other utilities by hour, day, month, or year, compare consumption with a reference period, and rank your buildings.
Compare current demand and recorded peaks with your contracted demand. Use the heatmap to identify recurring peaks and review their associated costs.
See which buildings have the lowest power factor (cos φ) and what excess reactive energy costs at each one.
The platform calculates each bill item from the building’s tariff structure and rates. It also calculates the emissions from the electricity you buy (Scope 2) using the grid emission factor, as a basis for ESG reporting.
Predefined alarms flag deviations, and the platform detects communication outages and potentially inaccurate readings, so you know which data you can rely on.
Once you know where and when costs arise, the next step is to reduce them. Advanced
features turn data into practical measures and track their impact.
Abysalto Energy compares consumption with typical patterns for workdays, weekends, and different times of year, as well as the same period last year. It flags deviations from a building’s normal operation and lets you relate consumption to production output, revenue, or another measure.
Automated reports give operational teams detailed consumption data, and management and finance get summaries of costs, savings, and peak demand across the portfolio. Scope 2 emissions reports export in standard formats for ESG reporting.
ANALYTICS AND REPORTS
OPTIMIZATION
Identify consumption outside working hours and other inefficient patterns, then estimate what each building could save. The platform simulates reducing peak demand (peak shaving) and shifting consumption to lower-cost periods (load shifting). It also helps reduce charges for excess reactive energy and recommends HVAC and lighting schedules based on operating needs and tariffs.
Control connected HVAC and lighting equipment, including through building management systems. You can make adjustments manually, approve actions proposed by the platform, or automate them with rules and schedules, and the platform shows whether each action succeeded.
Role-based permissions determine who can initiate actions, and safety limits protect equipment and processes. Users can take manual control at any time, and the action log records each action, who initiated it, and the result.
EQUIPMENT CONTROL
RENEWABLE GENERATION AND STORAGE
Monitor renewable generation, on-site consumption, and electricity exported to the grid alongside battery status and operation. Abysalto Energy optimizes battery charging and the use of locally generated electricity across your sites to increase self-consumption and reduce peak demand.
Your generation and battery capacity can also serve as resources on the energy market, along with flexible consumption. The platform tracks wholesale prices on CROPEX, the Croatian power exchange. It enables market participation through demand response, selling surplus electricity on the exchange, joining a virtual power plant, and flexibility services.
AI recommendations and forecasting.
The planned AI advisor will explain likely causes of unusual consumption and recommend measures ranked by estimated financial impact. Forecasting will first cover consumption and peak demand, with renewable generation, energy costs, and CO₂e emissions to follow.
Expanded emissions reporting.
Alongside Scope 2, the platform will cover direct emissions from your own sources (Scope 1) and indirect emissions in the value chain (Scope 3).
Mobile app.
You will follow key indicators and every site’s status on your phone and approve proposed actions from the field, with push notifications about peak demand and unusual consumption.
AI SUPPORTED
Abysalto Energy builds on more than five years of Abysalto’s energy efficiency and IoT projects. Its foundation is the company’s IoT Cloud platform, which monitors consumption in buildings and controls public lighting.
Public lighting in Rovinj, Dugo Selo, and Ivanec
The cities manage public lighting through a cloud application that sets switch-on and switch-off times by geographic location and light levels by time and road type. Alarms flag faults, and readings and reports let each city verify its savings. Rovinj’s public lighting now draws 79% less active power, and Ivanec manages 2,654 luminaires this way.
Public buildings in Rovinj
In 14 public buildings, 42 metering devices read electricity, water, gas, heating oil, and LPG consumption remotely. The city uses the data to spot unusual consumption and check the effect of completed measures, and the reports support energy management under ISO 50001 and ESG reporting.
MSAN headquarters
At MSAN’s headquarters in Buzin, the system tracks the building’s total electricity consumption and, separately, the data center, HVAC, and advertising displays.
USE CASES
Abysalto has delivered energy efficiency projects and IoT solutions for over five years. Abysalto Energy is built on our own IoT Cloud platform, used to monitor and control public lighting and track consumption in buildings.
We’ll walk you through the platform and discuss your existing meters, equipment, and energy management needs.
